The "gas" that Michael mentions IS NOT a general anaesthetic.
He was not asleep at any time.
but it is a light form of conscious sedation
that I refer to as "Happy Air".
Patients are completely awake but totally care-free.
No butterflies in the tummy.
Just a calm and relaxed feeling.
