Invisalign® the revolutionary way to straighten crooked teeth WITHOUT the need for train-track braces. It should be stressed that this technique is not always the possible or the right answer for every orthodontic problem.

Below are two brief movies showing how Align Technologies produce a "Clincheck"®.( see below). The Clincheck"® is a compter graphic, built from a laser-scan of the precise impression taken of the clients teeth before treatment starts. Technicians and orthodontists work on this computer-generated 3D graphic, to design the way in which teeth need to be moved and predict how teeth would be aligned using Invisalign aligners®.


We use the Clinchceck in the final consultation with our patients to decide on the final plan, before approval is given on-line and the aligners go into production.

Introduction

As many of our regular clients ( O.K. patients) know, one of our special services is helping anxious patients. One of the ways we do this is to use "Happy air" also known as "R.A." or Inhalation Sedation to give a completely relaxed experience during dental treatment with a rapid recovery.

5 years ago I developed a course to teach other dentists how to succesfully use and introduce R.A. into their practices and I am about to run my 20th course in March.

Well after a slightly slow start to January we are back to being very busy, which is good.

We had a record number of new patients join the practice in January thanks almost entirely to my home-made website and through word of mouth referrals, assisted increasingly by my membership of the Jack O' Newbury Chapter of BNI. I have been attending 6.30am brekfast meetings every Friday for just over 12 months, establishing excellent contacts in the local business community with people who are dedicated and professional networkers; so a good group to get to know.
